HISTORY OF STUDY PROGRAM

Founded on November 29th, 1980 and initiated by Prof Heyder. We have educated hundreds of excellent surgeons spread all over Indonesia.

Developments before 1961

Dr. Hospital Kariadi (called Purussara Hospital), where at that time in the surgery section there were only 2 doctors, namely dr. Husayn and dr. Hailborn, 1954 dr. Husein left, so he was sent from Jakarta a surgeon, a student of Prof. Sukaryo, namely dr. Heyder. At that time the condition of the surgical department was very alarming because:

  1. Unqualified operating room and operating equipment
  2. Lack of doctors
  3. No anesthesiologist

To overcome this, dr. Heyder with dr. Paryono (director of Purusara Hospital at the time) established a new operating room which was inaugurated by the Minister of Health, dr. Aziz Saleh on April 26, 1956. The staff of the Surgery Department was expanded by the arrival of new doctors, namely dr. Gan Hoay Kiong, dr. Suraryo Darsono, dr. Yen ShieSen, dr. Sengupta and dr. Beisser. Because at that time there was no anesthesiologist, the surgical division trained 3 nurse anesthetists, then in March 1961 dr. Haditopo from Gajah Mada University who had provided training in the field of Anesthesia in Copenhagen came. To improve service, then dr. Heyder was sent to Pediatric Surgery at the Children’s Hospital in Colombo Ohio, USA and the Swedish University of Malmo. In the field of education dr. Heyder was given the authority to educate surgeons where the brevet was given in Jakarta. Those who have graduated are dr. Sudjati in 1960, dr. Gan Hoay Kiong in 1961 and dr. Yen Shie Sen in 1962.

Developments between 1961 – 1970

Because surgical education under the leadership of dr. Heyder is considered good, then the surgeon’s brevet can be given by dr. Heyder. Those who passed surgery during that period were:

  1. Suraryo Darsono in 1962 who was later appointed as staff by the Surgery Department.
  2. Asikin in 1964 who later returned to Germany.
  3. Iskarno then left for Germany to deepen.

At that time in the field of education and services had advanced (at that time many Gajah Mada students were undergoing co-shaps at the Semarang general hospital). By looking at the volume of work and the number of sufferers who were more than Jogja, Diponegoro University (at that time was still a private sector) led by Prof. Sudarto and Mrs. Widayati SH. Requesting the participation of dr. Heyder to establish the Faculty of Medicine. Then the implementation is supported by the hospital doctor. Another general public, then the Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University was established on October 1, 1961. On February 18, 1966 dr. Heyder was appointed professor and inaugural address on June 3, 1967.

Developments between 1971 – 1980

The development of services and education is progressing. Successively new surgeons graduated, namely:

  1. Sutoko in 1971 then deepened Plastic Surgery in Amsterdam.
  2. Saleh Mengun Sudirdjo in 1972, then took education in the field of Orthopedics at the University of Indonesia (UI) Jakarta and graduated as an Orthopedist in 1978.
  3. Darsito in 1973, then deepened Digestive Surgery in Berlin Germany and received a brevet in 1981.
  4. Rudy Yuwono 1974 then took expertise in the field of Urology Groningen the Netherlands which graduated in 1979.
  5. Lukas W. In 1973 and deepened surgical oncology and got a tumor surgeon in 1978.
  6. Abdul Wahab, graduated in 1977 and is an orthopedic surgeon, FK UI Jakarta.
  7. Andy Maleachi, graduated in 1978 and later received a digestive surgeon’s brevet.
  8. Rifki Muslim, graduated in 1977 and graduated as an Urologist from FK UI Jakarta.

Decree of the Chancellor of Diponegoro University No.144 /SK/PT09/1980 concerning the establishment of a Specialist Medical School I.

Specialist 1 education and services began to be carried out according to the expertise of the subspecialty. Besides, Prof. Heyder also educates oral surgeons, namely drg. Tjipto Rahardjo and followed by drg. Kuswartono. In subsequent developments, the oral surgery sub-section was separated from the surgical division and entered the UPF/Dental Laboratory.

Developments between 1980 – 1990

Many surgeon graduates now become teaching staff, namely:

  1. Faik Heyder, Sp.B. Sp.BTKV Completed his education as a sub-specialist in TKV Surgery at the Philippine Heart Center of Asia, Manila, Philippines. 1980.
  2. Andy Maleachi, in 1980 was sent by UNDIP to attend a short course for 8 months at the University of the Royal College of Surgeon (Edinburgh) in the city of Edinburgh, Scotland, Great Britain.
  3. Riwanto, graduated in 1981 and received a brevet of digestive surgeon from FK UI.
  4. Djoko Handojo, graduated in 1985 and received a tumor surgeon brevet from FK UI Jakarta.
  5. Yulianto, graduated in 1985 and received a pediatric surgeon brevet from FK UI.
  6. Sidharta Darsoyono, graduated in 1983 and graduated in Urology from FK UNAIR Surabaya.

In May 1980 prof. Heyder retired as Section Head, and from November 1980 to June 1, 1980. Dr. Suraryo Darsono was appointed as Acting Head of Section in 1981.

Developments between 1990 – 2000

The development of services and education is progressing. Successively new surgeons graduated, namely:

  1. Riwanto, graduated from Doctor Free University Amsterdam in 1992.
  2. Bambang Sutedja, SpB, SpBO, FICS graduated B. Orthopedics FK UI Jakarta in th. 1994.
  3. dr. H. Zaenal Muttaqien, Ph.D, Sp.BS(K). completed the Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Science program at Hiroshima University in 1993.
  4. Ardy Santosa, Sp.U graduated from the Urology Specialist Faculty of Airlangga University in 1994.
  5. Johnny Syoeib, Sp.B-KBD graduated as a consultant digestive surgeon in 1994.
  6. Johnny Syoeib, SpB, SpBD graduated from Digestive Surgery FK UI Jakarta in 1993.
  7. Dr. dr. A. Faik Heyder, Sp.B. Sp.BTKV completed his doctoral program at FK UGM and was inaugurated as a professor in surgery on November 7, 1998.
  8. Mulyono, SpB, SpBD graduated from Digestive Surgery, FK Unair Surabaya in 1997.
  9. Sahal Fatah, SpB, SpBTV graduated Thorax/Vascular Surgery, FK UI Jakarta 2000.

During this period the Head of Section was held by dr. Saleh Mangun Sudirdjo, FICS until 1994.

Developments between 2001 – 2010

  1. Djjeni Bijantoro, SpB graduated from Pediatric Surgery, FK Padjadjaran University (UNPAD) in 2004 and submitted a transfer in 2005.
  2. Mohammad Adi Soedarso joined the surgical department after graduating from FK Universitas Airlangga (Urology Specialist) Graduated in 2000.
  3. Benny Issakh, Sp.B, Sp.B(K)Onk Graduated from Surgical Oncology in 2002 from FK UI.
  4. Darwito Graduated Sub Specialist Surgical Oncology in 2005 from FK UI.
  5. Najatullah, Sp.BP-RE (K), MARS returned to the department after completing his Specialist in Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Reconstruction from FK UI in 2004.
  6. Kunsemedi Setyadi, Sp.B graduated as a consultant digestive surgeon in 2004.
  7. Aries Sudjarwo, Sp.B, Sp.BV(K) graduated from the vascular surgery specialist program, FK UI Jakarta in 2006.
  8. Edwin Basyar, M.Kes, Sp.B, Sp.BA. graduated from Pediatric Surgery FK UNPAD in 2007.
  9. Agus Priambodo, Sp.B , Sp.OT(K) joined the surgical staff in 2007 after completing his Orthopedic specialist education at FK UI.
  10. Thohar Arifin, Ph.D, PAK, Sp.BS(K). completed the Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Science program at Hiroshima University in 2007.
  11. Eriawan Agung Nugroho, Sp.U after completing his urology education at FK Unair joined the staff in 2008.
  12. Rizqy Setyarto, Sp.B, Sp.BP-RE(K), MARS completed his Specialist in Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Reconstruction from FK UI 2009.
  13. Wahyu Wiryawan, Sp.B, Sp.BTKV (K) Graduated from Cardio Vascular Thoracic Surgery, FK UI in 2009.

Developments between 2011 – 2021

  1. Congratulations B, MSi.Med.Sp.B.Sp.B(K)Onk FICS completed his doctoral program in the postgraduate program at UNDIP in 2011.
  2. Bernardus Parish Budiono, MSi.Med., Sp.B-KBD. He joined a teaching staff in surgery in 2011 and graduated as a consultant digestive surgeon in the same year.
  3. Abdul Mughni, MSi.Med., Sp.B-KBD Joined the surgical teaching staff in 2011 and graduated as a consultant digestive surgeon specialist at FK UNDIP in the same year.
  4. Yuriz Bakhtiar, Ph.D., Sp.BS(K). completed the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Medical Science Kagoshima University in 2012.
  5. Erik Prabowo, M.Si.Med, Sp.B-KBD joined the surgical staff in 2012 and graduated from Digestive Consultant Surgical Specialist at FK UNDIP in 2013.
  6. Yan Wisnu P,MKes.Sp.B.,Sp.B(K)Onk. Completed his doctoral program at FK UGM in 2013.
  7. Didi Hertanto, M.Si.Med, Sp.B, Sp.OT(K) joined the surgical staff in 2012 after graduating from the Orthopedic Sub Specialist of FK UI.
  8. Robin Novriansyah, M.Si.Med, Sp.B, Sp.OT(K) joined the surgical staff in 2013.
  9. M Ali Shodiq Graduated Thoracic Cardiac Vascular Surgery FK UI in 2014.
  10. Agung Aji Prasetyo, MSi.Med. Sp.BA Graduated from the Pediatric Surgeon Program, FK UNPAD in 2014.
  11. Avriana Pety Wardani, Sp.BA BA Graduated from the Pediatric Surgeon Program, FK UGM in 2014.
  12. Rudiyuwono Raharjo, M.Si.Med, Sp.B, Sp.BA completed his education as a pediatric surgeon at FK UI in 2015.
  13. Eriawan Agung Nugroho, Sp.U completed a doctoral program in medical or health sciences at FK UNDIP in 2016.
  14. Pujisriyani, Sp.BP-RE joined surgery after completing Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Reconstruction Specialist from FK UI.
  15. Albertus Ari Adrianto, Sp.B., Sp.B-KBD. Admission to the Department of Surgery in 2016.
  16. Krisna Tsaniadi Prihastomo, Sp.BS graduated in Neurosurgery from FK Unair in 2018.
  17. Nanda Daniswara, Sp.U(K) entered the Surgery sub-Section of Urology Surgery in 2017.
  18. Edmond Rukmana Wikanta, M.Si.Med., Sp.B, Sp.B(K)Onk graduated from the Oncology Surgical Sub Specialist -HNb and joined the surgical staff in 2019.
  19. Subiyakto, M.Si.Med, Sp.B. Sp.B(K)Onk graduated from Sub-Surgery Oncology -HNb and joined the surgical staff in 2019.
  20. Agoes Wibisono Graduated from FK UNPAD Pediatric Surgery in 2019.
  21. Wasisto, M.Si.Med., Sp.B(K)Onk., FINACS graduated from Sub-Surgery Oncology -HNb and joined the surgical staff in 2020.
  22. Martahadinan, M.Si.Med, Sp.B-KBD joined the surgical staff in 2020.
  23. Sigit Adi Prasetyo, MSi.Med.,Sp.B-KBD completed his doctoral program at FK UNDIP in 2020.
  24. Dimas Erlangga Nugrahadi, Sp.B-KBD graduated as a consultant digestive surgeon specialist in 2021 and joined the teaching staff of Surgery.
  25. Ahmad Fathi Fuadi, Sp.B-KBD graduated as a consultant digestive surgeon in 2021 and joined the teaching staff of Surgery.
  26. Gina Yunita Joyce Sitorus, Sp.BP-RE graduated Specialist in Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Reconstruction from FK UI Jakarta 2020 and became a surgical staff in August 2021.
